We Love Homewood Day 2026
A day full of fun with activities that the whole family will enjoy! Come for food, music, games, parades, entertainment, and a whole lot more. This year's celebration will include:
- We Love Homewood Day 5k at 7:30 a.m.
- Spring in the Park Festival at 10 a.m.
- Vendor Expo from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
- The Rotary Club Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest
- Food Trucks
- We Love Homewood Day Parade at 6 p.m. from The Homewood Public Library to Edgewood Business District
- Street Dance in Edgewood

Join us for the annual We Love Homewood 5K, supporting the fine arts in Homewood City Schools and benefiting the Homewood High School Band's upcoming trip to the Rose Bowl and the HWD Strong Wellness Program. From the starting line to the finish, this event promises fun, community spirit, and the chance to challenge yourself on a course through the beautiful Edgewood neighborhood. K-5 grade students from Hall Kent, Shades Cahaba and Edgewood will compete to see which school can bring the biggest team to complete the one mile fun run.
